In development for more than a decade, using one of the most responsible and desirable sweeteners available, this chocolate fulfills the exceptional taste standards for which we are known. Reb A, an extract of the Stevia plant, was recently approved for use in food by the FDA. Well-rounded sweetness is much more difficult to attain using Stevia, whose extracts can be 300 times sweeter than sugar. Our blend also eliminates any aftertaste distracting from the natural flavor of the cocoa beans. The Cadenza bar has a full-bodied sweetened cocoa taste without sugar's negative health effects.
